Memorial Day Weekend in Snowflake

My brother Travis branded his calves on Memorial Day weekend and invited all of the family to come and help.  I couldn't pass up a character building expierence like that so off we went.  It was VERY windy the day we branded, but that provided even more character.  :)  In the last two videos you can hear how bad the wind was.

May 2012 pictures and videos

May was a great month.  I love the month of May because it is a crossroads month--school gets out and summer begins.  Here in Gilbert we get to start swimming in May too.  I love being in the water.

Our friends the Lamoreaux's have the coolest pool.  They are so generous and allow us to use it all summer long whenever we want.

Jaki got to stay the night with us and ride with us to Snowflake for Memorial Day weekend.  Karalee got to stay the night with Rachel ride up with her family.  Before we left we swam a little.

For our craft the first week of summer, we do one craft every week, we mixed food coloring in some almond milk and then painted a piece of bread.  Then we toasted it and ate it.  It was fun and tasty.
