Mom's birthday party, Pinewood derby, School projects

When I called my Mom on her birthday I talked her into coming down to "the valley" (that's what I grew up calling this area) so those of us who live down here could celebrate her birthday with her too.  So on January 15th, three days after my Mom's birthday, I threw a fiesta to help her celebrate being 71 years young.  We had a fun time.  I planned a few games from the minute to win it show--put an oreo on your forehead and get it into your mouth without using your hands, and the cup stacking/unstacking race.  It was a lot of fun.  We love you Mom!!!

Spencer had to make a character mask to go with his book report.  Can you guess what book he read?

The 100th day of school is tomorrow and Bryant made this poster for his project.  He has 40 cars and planes, 20 pennies, 20 raisins, and 20 toothpicks to equal 100 things on his poster.  When I told him I wanted to take his picture with his poster he said he wanted to make a silly face.  I LOVE my Bryant boy's originality.
