Bryant turned seven years old today. Here are seven facts I love about Bryant:
1. He reads his scriptures every day. He is almost on page 200 in the Book of Mormon. I told him if he could finish the Book of Mormon before he turned eight I would give him $100 for his mission fund, and he could spend $10 of it.
2. He sticks his tongue out when he concentrates. I tease him about it when I see him doing it and we both laugh.
3. He is good friends with his brother and sister.
4. He loves to come sit on my lap and hug me. He tells me he wishes he could hug me all day long.
5. He is my baby boy. He kind of wanted to have a baby brother so he wouldn't be the baby boy anymore, but deep down I think he loves that he still gets to be the baby for awhile.
6. He was my biggest baby, 8 pounds 13 ounces, but my easiest delivery.
7. He is a great student and a great reader.
A few weeks ago he told me that he wanted to have a scavenger hunt to find his presents and that he wanted me to tape the first clue to his head while he was asleep. He cracks me up! I love that he asks for fun things and that he thinks big. I think Heavenly Father wants to bless us with big things, but sometimes he wants us to think of them and ask for them so we will do our part to work for them.
Clue #1: * Look under the place where guests sleep. (I found a scavenger hunt for kids online and only had to tweak it a little bit. What did we do before we had the internet?)
Clue #2: * Look inside the object that keeps our food cold.
I had 7 clues hidden, the one taped to his head wasn't hidden, so I put a dollar with each one so he got $7 for his 7th birthday.
Clue #3: * Look where you go to clean your mouth.
Clue #4: *Look inside the object that bakes our food.
Clue #5: *Look on the front porch.
Clue #6: *Look on the computer desk.
Clue #7: Look under a couch in the living room.
Clue #8: Look inside the object that dry's things.
Jackpot!!!
DS pens
Pokemon DS game, white version. He also got a water gun and a monster truck.
Bryant requested waffles with cool whip for breakfast.
He also asked for chocolate cake, with chocolate frosting, and rocky road ice cream. I guess he's on a chocolate kick.
I love my Bryant boy and am SO thankful for him in our family. He is a joy!
