It’s been a good week. Not a lot has happened. I’ve been preparing to do a stick horse keg
race at our ward campout this coming weekend.
I asked for volunteers to be part of the “rodeo committee” to split up
the work.
|
Monday I drove Spencer's football carpool home from school. Be very glad you can't smell this picture!! |
The LBC activities that I mentioned last week went
well. Krispy Kreme put on a really nice
tour for all the kids. After the tour I
stopped at some thrift stores nearby and found a lot of really good quality,
useful items.
|
Found some water shoes at Goodwill for Spencer when he grows a little more. They are the same nice brand that I got for Chad from Costco. I also found nice, new looking pairs of Sunday shoes in Spencer's next two sizes. |
|
Found this chair and the decorations on it for my front porch decor at Savers |
|
Found some kegs for the upcoming stick horse rodeo and some like new Justin boots at Goodwill |
I went to a volunteer meeting at the kids’ school
on Friday afternoon. I’m going to be
helping with Art Masterpiece in Bryant’s sixth grade class.
|
Ready for date night with Chad on Friday night. I love my cute little photo bomber. |
|
Last night Spencer had a school "Sock Stomp" party. Can you spot him in the red shirt in the middle of the group? |
I’ve started learning a little more about
photography the last few days. I came
across this free course:
http://shultzphotoschool.com/ . It emails me one tip a day and I learn little
by little. I took a few pictures of Chad
and the kids this afternoon using the things I have learned so far.

I love Karalee's flawless skin!! |
|
...and I love Marlee's freckles!! |
|
So sweet and innocent. |
|
Love Bryant's eyes! |
|
I told Bryant what to do to set this picture up. I wish I had reapplied some make up cause my face was too shiny from sweating. |
I hope your week has gone well. What has been keeping you busy?
I have two quotes about music for today.
- “When there’s music in your life, there is
happiness” (Celine Dion)
- “A child who sings is a happy child” (Elder Enrique R. Falabella, The
Home: The School of Life).
I have always loved to hear my children sing, but
after hearing these quotes I love it even more because their songs mean they
are happy.
Love,
Mindy
