We spent a lot of time at home in January taking care of our new baby.  It was nice to take it easy.

Tilly is getting bigger.

Chad and the boys have had a lot of fun with the new wii games they got for Christmas.  Their favorite new game is Mario Strikers Charged.  It is a soccer game.

Marlee crashed on the chair with her legs crossed.  I thought it was kind of funny.

I took the following two pictures just to prove to myself that I must be doing something right because my children enjoy playing with each other.

Spencer spent almost every night during the month of January holding Tilly for me so she wouldn't cry while I made dinner.  He is so good with babies.  He is able to get them to calm down and go to sleep.  He would stop whatever he was doing and with a good attitude take care of his little sister.  I sure love and appreciate his willingness to help.

Karalee lost her first tooth

Christmas Eve was so much fun.  Here are a few pics of our fun traditions.

Karalee snapped this picture of me helping Marlee get ready.  I guess I was making her pony tail too tight.

Chad's parents got a ping pong table for Christmas.  We set it up early and Chad had lots of fun beating all of us in ping pong.

This is the only picture I took on Christmas Day and we ended up taking that toy car back because it quit working a few days later.  It was a wonderful Christmas.  We went to church after opening presents then spent the afternoon and evening at Penny's house visiting with family.  It was so much fun to have a new baby with us this year. 

December 2011

December was kind of a blur for me.  I don't know why, but I have had a hard time adjusting to life with a new baby.  I didn't feel like I could take care of all of my kids very well.  I couldn't get enough sleep, I felt crazy, I got mastitis and was very weak which left me feeling helpless and a little depressed.  I was planning on having one more baby, but now I think we might be done.  I am not 100% decided though.  If Chad or I feel a strong prompting that our family is not complete we will have another baby.  I am so thankful to be feeling better now.  I am grateful for each of my children.  They are so helpful.  I am so thankful for our new little Tilly.

Most of our Christmas preparations were done before Tilly was born, but we managed to find some fun stuff to do to keep us busy.  Like,

taking a Christmas card pic,

wearing red boots,

smiling,

enjoying our little peanut,

making cookies by ourself for the first time,

smiling,

anticipating the cookies,

smiling,

using a drill to make a milk shake because our blender broke,

decorating sugar cookies,

and playing the guitars from grammy.
